About HD Clean
From a bucket and mop to major cleaning projects
HD Clean began with Haroldas Užiūnas's long-held ambition to build a business of his own. Today our team cleans homes and business premises across Lithuania.
Before founding HD Clean, Haroldas spent ten years in commerce. He enjoyed meeting people and learning to understand what customers needed. The idea of starting a business stayed with him for years, although taking the first step was not easy.

Our story
Taking the first step
Haroldas had wanted to start a business for a long time. Uncertainty held him back. His then-manager Darius gave him his first business stamp and wished that it would mark the start of a new chapter in his life. Only later did those words take on meaning for Haroldas.
Haroldas invited Darius to join him, valuing the management skills he himself had yet to develop. Darius believed in the idea and left a stable management job. They started out as a two-person, self-employed team, with basic supplies: a bucket and mop.
The first assignment
Their first job was to clean severely neglected premises full of waste. The work made them question their decision, but they carried on. Each new job brought experience and confidence.
A growing team
Later, Haroldas's brother joined Darius in managing the business. As enquiries grew, so did the cleaning team. The range of work widened too: from everyday home cleaning to large properties after construction, fires, flooding or sewage spills.
A project that seemed too big
One milestone was cleaning an approximately 4,500 m² factory after a severe fire. The task seemed daunting at first. The client told the team they could do it. Over a month and a half, they cleaned soot and fire debris until the property could be handed over to builders.
What matters today
We give every enquiry the same attention, whether it comes from a large contractor, a municipality, hospital or care home, or someone who needs their home or windows cleaned. The size of a job does not change how we regard the customer.
HD Clean continues to grow and plan for the future, while keeping its focus on customers and the people who do the work.
